About Coto & Associates
Coto & Associates was founded in 1999 and we are proud to have served our community and Puerto Rico for over 20 years. During that time, we have put down deep roots, sharpened our skills, grown in experience and knowledge, and developed into a multidisciplinary modern law practice. With every case and every client, we believe that we are doing more than solving legal problems – we are shaping the future for our community.
How We are Different
Clients in the same situation often face the same legal issues. However, this does not mean that the solution is the same for each client. The issues may be similar, yet the cases are unique to each client based on their particular facts and circumstances. Every client has their own unique priorities balanced with a specific tolerance for risk.

Our firm is primarily focused on four broad yet distinct practice areas:

Each of those practice areas includes a broad cross-section of various matters. While these may be distinct practice areas, we utilize an interdisciplinary, team-oriented approach. We leverage the knowledge and experience of all of the attorneys in our firm when it is in the best interest of our client. This means that each practice group is fully integrated with the firm as a whole so that we can deliver better results for those we represent.
Who We Are
As a boutique firm, each member of our team plays a vital role in both our corporate clients culture as well as the results we deliver to our clients. Our foundation rests on a core of four attorneys:

Our attorneys are backed by an equally important support staff:
The attorneys and support staff work together as a cohesive team to deliver the legal services you need when you need them. This includes responding to client communications within 12 hours or less and being available to meet with clients at their convenience, even if that includes outside of normal business hours. A multilingual firm, we are also able to accommodate clients in Spanish, English, French, and Italian.
Through time, we also have built long lasting liaisons with other law firms that support some other services not provided by the firm.
